Social Innovation for smart growth - 2nd day

The Netherlands Centre of Social Innovation (NCSI), with support from the Netherlands Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and from the European Union - ESF, organises the seminar "Social innovation for smart growth. Can lessons be drawn from current programmes in the EU to enhance Innovative Work Organisation?". Second day program:

09.40 - 10.10 Results of recent research on international innovative work organisation programmes, Peter Totterdill (Joint Chief Executive of the UK Work Organisation Network Ltd, visiting professor Kingston University Business School, London);


10.10 - 10.40 Comparison of three different programme approaches (Flanders, Belgium; the Netherlands and North Rhine-Westphalia; Germany), report and impressions of an excursion, Ton de Korte (Director Netherlands Centre for Social Innovation);


10.40 - 11.00 Short break


11.00 - 11.30 Tekes, the Finnish Tykes programme, Tuomi Alasoini (Director, Tekes - Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, responsible for the Tykes program);


11.30 - 12.30 Discussion in subgroups
1. How can Innovative Work Organisation contribute to the implementation of the European Strategy 2020?
2. Strong and weak points of the policy of the different programmes (themes, target group, cooperation, procedures, etc.)
3. The possible impact of a COP (Community of Practice) for official and how to organise it?;

14.30 - 15.00 Evaluation of the seminar and enumerate the interest in a COP for officials by chairman Frank Pot.
